Pale gold, cloudy, fluffy lasting head and lacing. Smells of grapefruit, tropical notes, a bit grassy, a toasted buttery malt undercurrent. Lemony, citrusy, grassy taste. Mouth watering, medium bodied, subtle booze. Pretty good.

This one pours a mostly clear golden yellow color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This smells like floral and marijuana-ish hops, sweet malts, orange rind, and grapefruit zest.
This is a solid little take on a West Coast style IPA. It doesn't avoid malty sweetness entirely, but the hop character is interesting enough to play against it well and downplay it. There's a dank bitterness, and some sweet citrusy character as well.
This is medium bodied, a little bit slick, with no booziness and a pretty good mouthfeel to it.
I don't see IPAs like this enough any more.

Batch 2 from early August. Pours a light amber color with about half an inch of white head that fades slowly. Smells somewhat sweet with tropical notes. Smooth but it's apparent this is a higher ABV DIPA. Kind of oily feel and aftertaste. Definitely trends towards west coast style but doesn't have all the piney and bitter flavors.

The latest batch is much better than previous. This has citrusy notes, some piney in there too. Mostly clear with ever so slight haze. Bit of a oily slick feel at the end, but very crushable for a DIPA.
--------
From can, a couple of days from canning date.
Amber, clear appearance with big time foam upon aggressive pour. Aromas don't necessarily pop, but Centennial hop sweet floral notes do come through. Even though this also has Citra in it, the Centennial sweetness dominates. It also has a bit of an 'oily' feel, akin to 'wet hops' being used as part of the process (but not so). Oily, slick is that feel, but it's also medium-thick. Not a bad, 'classic' style DIPA.
