Very cloudy orange, mild lacing. Citrusy notes of pineapple, mango, slight orange. Taste is strongly pineapple with mild orange and mango, bit of a tangy dankness. Creamy, light to medium bodied, mildly boozy. Subtle, flavorful, delicious.

Lots of citrus in this double IPA. The grapefruit really stood out. There was a touch of sweet pineapple that was done just right. Some orange in the smell lent itself well. There was also some earthiness to it. The oats lead to an enjoyable mouthfeel.

16oz can, undated, released on 06.20.2020, poured into a stemless wine glass.
The beer pours a superbly hazy orange color, golden hues, with foamy white head, just taller than a finger with good retention and excellent lacing. The aroma is lovely, bright and fresh with tons of tropical fruit, mango, pineapple, guava, orange juice with a nice floral character that brings out a more dank and grassy profile while plenty of sweet yeast and pale dough linger underneath. The flavors are great, bursting with juicy citrus and tropical fruits, sweet yeast, a nice dank and grassy character that comes with a nice wildflower bouquet but as it warms, because more green, raw and bitter while a base of doughy cereal grains help tie this beer together. The mouthfeel is excellent, coating and creamy with a thick but smooth medium body that finishes easily with a mildly dry bite.
Verdict: A fantastic IPA from Phase Three. Really dialed in the fresh juicy and tropical flavors while offering just enough bitterness and grassiness to balance this one out and keep it from being overly sweet. An excellent example of the style.
