16 ounce can into a tulip snifter. Canned maybe 7/13/21, had 8/17/21.

Pours a hazy yellow orange, with a one inch head and some thin foamy lacing. Aromas of white grapes, passion fruit, some orange, light grapefruit, light malt, an herbal aroma as it warms. Mostly similar flavors- white grapes, passion fruit, some orange, light grapefruit, a slight hop bitterness upfront through the middle. Has a little earthy and herbal taste- more as it warms. Smooth, a very good lighter body, well carbonated.

Kind of subtle overall, but the hop combo expresses really well, led by the Nelson Sauvin hops. Gets better as you work through the can. Very enjoyable.

Pours a cloudy gold orange color with minimal head and lacing. Strong juicy and dank hoppy smell on the open, weedy and citrusy. Mellows after a while in the glass. Taste is dank, juicy, citrusy, sweet, and mildly bitter, all at the same time. Big bodied, boozy, thick, creamy, but it’s got a mildness and subtlety to it that makes it an interesting and complex beer. A definite triple IPA, because there’s got a lot going on. Excellent beer.

Triple Dry-Hopped Triple IPA w/ 7 lbs. per barrel of Nelson Sauvin, Citra, and Galaxy. Canned the week of review.

Pours a full hazy rich orange color with a golden hue. Produced a finger of a dense off-white head that dissipated slowly.

Aroma screams white grape and passionfruit. Additionally, it brings naval orange, ruby red grapefruit, orange pith, lychee, pineapple juice, mango skin, hop spice, floral, earthiness, pine resin.

Taste is I ntense passionfruit, ripe and dry white grape, ruby red grapefruit juice and pith, ripe tangerine, orange peel, lemon zest, lychee, pineapple sorbet, ripe kiwi, mango juice and skin, peppery spice, rose water, pine resin, wood, vanilla wafer, dough. Has a pleasant dryness and firm bitterness to balance it all out. Ever-so-slight booze on the finish, but ridiculously smooth for 10%.

High medium body. Pillowy, slightly creamy, slick, oily, and slightly sticky.

I did this one back-to-back with Hop Butcher A Digital Frontier TIPA for National IPA Day and this one surprisingly won by a long shot. It’s much more balanced between sweet and dry/bitter and has a much more interesting hop character with the Nelson and Galaxy. Including their Creme series, this is probably the best hoppy beer they’ve made to date imho.
