750 ounce bottle into a snifter. 2021 FOBAB to go batch, had 12/3/2022.
Pours near black and opaque, thick looking, with no head and no lacing. Aromas of cinnamon, coconut, roasted malt, some bourbon, some vanilla. Flavors are similar- cinnamon, coconut, more bourbon than the nose, malt, some vanilla. Smooth, excellent full body with a thick feel, appropriately carbonated.
Focused and ridiculously good. Coconut and cinnamon forward, but the cinnamon isn’t overboard. The barrels aren’t intense, but delicious. This is top notch. Incredibly lucky to get this in my to go packs.

This was the 2021 FOBAB version, and my introduction to the fest, which was an apt one as it just seemed more like a satirical commentary on the scene than an actual fluid that you experience drinking.
Tar black with an array of floating lipids, Eunoia b2 is pastry to the power of absurd. Featuring absolutely zero barrel presence, it's like French pressing coconut into Dark Lord at a 2:1 ratio. All you taste--literally the only thing--is coconut chocolate pudding, except for maybe some hints of amaretto within its decadently viscous body.
What amazes me is how neckbeards continue to swoon over this kind of excess, instead of simply buying or making an actual, physical dessert that's otherwise far easier, cheaper, tastier and maybe even healthier to consume. I enjoy myself a good. even thickly sweet barrel aged stout that exhibits qualities of coconut and vanilla ribboned throughout it, but forcing it to this degree is just fucking embarrassing.

Straight coconut macaroons, & THICC. The cinnamon was surprisingly restrained, but the coconut really showed off here. Loads of flakes on the pour; not overly sweet, with the subdued cinnamon serving as the perfect compliment.
