American Amber Ale brewed with brown sugar. Caramel, molasses and honey notes. A beautiful addition to our Fall beer lineup.

Appearance: Pours a completely clear, deep amber color with a strong off white head. Sediment floating in the glass underneath. SRM of 18-19. (4.00)

Aroma: Strong aromas of amber malts, caramel, cherry, rich brown bread. (4.00)

Flavor: The flavors follow with rich ambers malts, caramel, cherry notes. Smooth bread, caramel, cherry with hints of molasses. Lightly airy, floral notes on the end. Mildly sweet finish. (4.25)

Feel: Medium-body, strong carbonation. Smooth airy finish. Hides the alcohol pretty well. (4.00)

Overall: A fall amber lager than I managed to find on the shelf from Phase Three. It's Phase Three so I had to pick it up. As expected, fantastic beer. Flavors upfront remind me of Sam Adams Boston Lager, but then it evolves into even more robust and complex flavors. Caramel, cherry, molasses, yet a dry, floral and airy finish. This captures the essense of fall in a glass. (Rating: 4.15-)

Crowler bought 2/3/21; drank 2/6/21 @ the Yarchives (I suspect the keg was filled in mid-October 2020).

Semi-opaque brown-orange appearance.

A rough pour yielded a nice khaki head; strong lace.

Autumn leaves, mild caramel & faint raspberry notes in the nose.

Medium mouthfeel.

Autumn leaves & faint caramel flavors up front; faint raspberry notes on the finish.

Easy to drink but with some heft; a nice take on the style. I'd have another.
