We brought back one of our favorites, Perpetual Sounds, but gave it the DDH treatment at nearly seven pounds per barrel of beautiful Pacific Northwest fruity blueberry tea focused Mosaic and peachy-grapefruit forward Amarillo.

Appearance: Pours a cloudy goldenstraw with a one finger meringue; excellent retention and a wall of lacing

Smell: Floral peach, tropical pineapple and hints of tangerine and blueberry

Taste: Pineapple and blueberry forward with peach tones emerging; through the middle, the tangerine arrives to provide, with its pitch a moderately bitter finish

Mouthfeel: Medium body and creamy with moderate carbonation

Overall: I have high expectataions for Phase Three beers and this did not disappoint

Overall: It's very good. Nice tropical melon and berries from Mosaic but balanced by Citrus and flower from the Amarillo. For only two hops it's very complex. Goes to show you don't need a suicide of hop flavors to make a complex IPA. (Rating: 4.14)

16 fl oz. can, canned 07/25/23, about a month in the can is alright by me. Phase Three has been releasing consistent bangers lately, so I have a good idea of what to expect.

A: Nice burnt orange sienna DIPA body. Strong frothy finger's worth of off-white head. Hugely doughy appearance, lots of small spotty lacing. Looks great. Looks almost more like your classic DIPA to me than it does a "New England" style IPA.
S: Oh yeah, fresh, juicy, citrusy. Smooth notes of soft fruit - pineapple, mango, papaya, peaches. Borderline 'tropical' smelling.
T: Wonderfuly display of dry-hopping. Flavors of mango, papaya, pineapple, peach. Super fruity & delicious. Good "New England" style flavor on display here.
F: Smooth & clean. Not overly bitter or resinous, not overly sticky or sugary. Modest 7.7% abv feels juuust right. Super easy-drinking stuff.

Another banger.

Appearance - From the can, the beer poured a cloudy yellow color with a generous white head.

Smell - This was not an orange bomb, but had definite notes of blueberry tea.

Taste - Is there such a thing as a dessert IPA? The profile had note of blueberry tea and bright lemon. It was like a tart. There was a somewhat dry hoppy finish that I enjoyed.

Mouthfeel - The body was not thick like cement. It actually drank like a beer.

Overall - I would recommend.

Pours a very cloudy golden color with a finger width foamy head. Retention is mild. Lacing is very good. Juicy orange, tropical and perfumy aroma. The taste follows to a degree. Orange predominates with some peach then grapefruit at the end. Mild citrus bitterness. Medium bodied with moderate carbonation.
