My first Pressed variant. The original is so great that I was excited to stumble on the Tiramisu. It is perfectly rich, not too sweet, and of elite quality. Chocolate syrup, vanilla ice cream, and coffee on top.

16oz can
packaged on 01-29-2021
L: black bodied stout with a foamy dark brown head
S: sweet aroma; coffee, chocolate, lactose, vanilla
T: very sweet & rich; fudge, milk chocolate, coffee, lactose, vanilla, caramel
F: thick, syrupy, smooth, and cloyingly sweet start to finish; alcohol is non existent in flavor but sneaks up on you fast at 12%
O: great complexity! I get that it’s supposed to be sweet, but just way too sweet for my liking

Served from the can in a Mickey Finn's shaker pint glass.
As a side note (great way to start, right?), the lore behind this glass is rather boring compared to that of the Gale Sayers glass. Many years ago, I was celebrating a birthday at the old-location Mickey Finn's (I don't remember if it was my birthday, or that of a friend, sad as it sounds), and I asked to buy a glass to add to my collection. And I did. Fun.
Anyway, this stuff pours a deep obsidian topped by a finger of fudgy brownie foam. The nose comprises deep chocolate syrup, sweet coffee, vanilla, and a hint of roasted malts. The taste brings in more of the same, along with some residual booze for good measure. The body straddles the border between hefty medium and light heavy, with a light moderate carbonation and a fluid feel. Overall, a damn fine imperial porter, one that works excruciatingly well as a dessert drink. Good times.

Canned 1/29/21; drank 2/7/21 @ the Yarchives.
Black appearance.
A rough pour yielded a huge dark tan head; strong lace.
Milk chocolate, rich vanilla, dark roast coffee bean & mild caramel notes in the nose.
Thick, creamy mouthfeel.
Rich vanilla, chocolate syrup & faint dark roast coffee bean flavors up front; faint fresh earth notes on the finish.
Robust, and they dumped enough ingredients to cover up the Tugboat mediocrity. One of the better entries in the series.
