16 oz can canned 7/14/23 into a nonic pint glass.
L: Pours a slightly clouded light caramel color with a thin domed eggshell white head, a few large sediment chunks that crashed to the bottom, head recedes to a thick floppy skin, medium-heavy lacing with broken sheeting. SRM 4
S: Distant pineapple, a hint of pine resin, a trace of malts. Very airy & clean aroma.
T: Light melon, some citrus zest, hints of orange, tangerine, distant white grape, has a lightly malt bill, gently sweet in the finish. Has a lightly resinous medium-length linger and a medium-long finish with a zesty aftertaste.
F: Very lightly brisk, medium-light bodied with a medium-length clean finish that is lightly drying. It is very lightly juicy and is a bit inflated in the middle.
O: Nice tasting and easy drinking with a session Ale kind of feel. I swirled the can prior to the final pour but there were still sediment chunks. I'd like to try this on tap. It is very good in its style.

16oz can. Bottom stamp is 'PACKAGED 07-14-2023'.
Cloudy, deep gold colored body. Head upon initial pour was three fingers of white foam. Follows to foamy cap. Leaves behind some splotches of lacing.
Aroma is wheat malt and floral/fruity hops.
Taste has the tang of the wheat malt and the sweetness from the floral and fruity hops. Lemon and green apple candy. Late in the profile is a close approach to resin. Bitterness remains low. Caramel, as the beer warms.
Medium mouth feel, with a touch of nectar. Coats the mouth. Good carbonation.
Attractive presentation.

16 fl oz. can, no date on this one. Acquired the 4pk from the local beer spot. Phase Three has been releasing consistent bangers lately, so I decided to dip into a style I am not too familiar with. Wheat pale ale with amarillo.
A: Nice pour; crisp & fresh looking. Golden orange IPA looking body, finger's worth of frothy soapy white head.
S: Aroma is a bit more subdued than Phase Three's other efforts, not as hoppy by any stretch, but lots of clean florals, wheat, & lemongrass. Slightly musty.
T: Again, clean & floral. Lightly bitter & resinous finish, but not overly hoppy by any means. The Amarillo is a soft player it seems. Super herbal & grassy, with notes of lemongrass & bitter rind flavors.
F: Smooth, crisp, clean. Pretty easy-drinking stuff, I'd call it medium-bodied, especially considering the lower abv. In that regard, it has some heft & some clear caloric intake. Either way, pretty drinkable, though it might leave some craving for more of a hop overload ...

So far beers from Phase Three have been stellar. I received this beer from a recent BIF, thank you, Jay! The beer is 42 degrees and served in Nonic. The pour of the beer created a two-fingered head with excellent retention. The bright white head is airy, creamy, and foamy. The glass is covered in lacing from the head dissipating. The color of the beer is SRM 4, pale straw with golden yellow hues. The beer is clear with the occasional carbonation bubble going to the top. The beer appearance of the beer is above average.
I first detect wheat and citrus with floral ester. Nosing further, I smell toasted bread, a hint of phenols, and fruity sweetness The beer's aromas are dominated by wheat and citrus.
I first taste the wheat and citrus. The next flavors are floral esters, a touch of herbal, lightly toasted bread, phenols, and fruity sweetness.
The mouthfeel of the beer is carbonated, creamy, and smooth.
The body of the beer is light, high carbonation, and a medium finish.
This beer is bright and rounded. The beer is simple and refreshing and great for a hot day.
