Hand-selected mosaic with a splash of sabro. Expect notes of bright forest-foraged berries with soft cedar and pine notes.

Yields a completely hazy, yellow colored beer with a medium sized head atop.
Aromas on this are quite passion fruit and mango forward, together with a note of limes and fresh baked bread.
Its mouthfeel is truly soft with a midpalate carbonation spark, which leads to a fitting refreshment.
Tastes of ripe exotic fruits, lingering bitter limes and a note of sweet honey. Offers a nice resinous sweetness, which gets complimented by caramel and fruit sorbet. Finishes with a smooth lime bitterness among blueberries and watermelon.
Solid, foreseeable fruity Double IPA with nothing special going on.

The Sabro is muted, nicely balanced by the mosaic.
Only gets better towards the bottom of the glass.

Canned 7/19/22 (approx. 5.5 weeks ago)
Appearance: Pours a nearly completely hazy (15% clarity) medium orange color with a moderate white head. SRm of 7. (4.00)
Aroma: Strong dank aromas of juniper and blueberries. Foresty. Some sweet pineapple and faint pine notes. A lightly herbal finish. (4.25)
Flavor: Strong and dank. Juicy tropical flavors of forest berries. Blueberries mixed with some sweet pineapple. A light pine note, but ultimately leans sweet on the finish. Slightly perfumey. Not bitter at all. (4.00)
Feel: Medium bodied. Moderate carbonation to match. Slightly sweet, but relatively clean and soft. (4.00)
Compared to BlackStack DDH City Pages 8/27/22: Pours a darker color. Similar aromas. Slightly more sweet pineapple. Less citrus herbal notes. Similar foresty blueberry flavors. Slightly sweeter. Overall, very similar. Winner: City Pages by a hair.
Compared to Phase Three DDH Graduated Color 9/2023: Pours darker, midler head. More dank aromas. More dank pine, green herbs, earth. Less grapefruit, lime, lime and pine. Slightly sweeter.
Overall: A nice DDH Mosaic and Sabro combo here. Sort of like blue raspberry mixed with sweet pineapple. The Blue-yellow candy combo. Slightly perfumey. Leans mildly sweet. Drinks well. Better than average, but nothing spectacular. (Rating: 4.04)

Poured into a Seattle Beer Week pint glass. Pours a vary hazy orange amber with a two finger white head with good retention and solid lacing. Aroma of pale malt, citrus hops, orange, lemon, mild mixed tropical fruit and a touch of grassiness. Flavor is pale malt, citrus and lightly dank hops, orange, light mixed tropical and stone fruit; a little dankness in the finish, which is only lightly bitter. Medium bodied with light to moderate creaminess. Not sure why I picked this up, since it looked like hazy on the label and turned out to be a classic hazy profile of mixed fruit flavors and a soft ddh hop character. Pretty much a typical hazy, NE style IPA, which is not my style. Interesting enough hop bill that should appeal to those who like the soft, low bitterness IPAs.

Canned 4/20/2021 and drank first week of May. This one real bad, note to self do not like sabro hops, I guess. Also extremely weird too thick mouthfeel. Usually can get the wife to drink the ones i don't like but she doesn't like it either. Might try to pass it off on drinking buddies but think it might hurt my rep... Not quite a drain pour but not my thing.

Canned 4/20/21; drank 5/2/21 @ the Yarchives.
Opaque dull orange/yellow appearance.
A rough pour yielded a big off-white head; thick, frothy tree-rung lace.
Lemon, table sugar & mild dry grass notes in the nose.
Creamy, medium thick mouthfeel.
Lemon, table sugar & dry grass flavors; it's passable, and slightly above average, but not one you'll want to seek out.
