16oz can, dated 05.17.2021, poured into a stemless wine glass.
The beer pours a very hazy and turbid orange color, amber hues with a fluffy white head, good retention and excellent lacing. The aroma is excellent, bright and tropical, lots of orange juice, peach fuzz, wildflower, sweet yeast, light booze, melon rind, grassiness, somewhat green with a nice pale dough backbone. The flavors are good, tropical, tangy, pineapple, orange, peach, melon, and berries yet quite floral that offers some dank green qualities, grassy, a little astringent but not quite bitter, pale dough, mineral water and a touch of booze clean up the rear. The mouthfeel is good, coating, creamy medium body, nice heft and a dry finish.
Verdict: A nice NEIPA from Phase Three. Bright and refreshing, soft and fairly delicate though the booze does creep through on this one. The Belma and Dorado hops really shine, nice elements of melon, citrus and berry.
