We loaded up this double IPA with creamy oats and a splash of milk sugar, tossed in Vic Secret and Sabro and then hit it with cream of coconut, pineapple puree and the perfect amount of vanilla.

16 ounce can into a tulip snifter. Canned 6/28/21, had 7/15/21.
Pours a hazy, thick looking yellow. Weird head- big and bubbly on the pour, disappeared in seconds. Some residue on the glass, floaters in it. Not a lovely beer. Aromas of pineapple, coconut, vanilla, some lactose providing a little bit of a creamy aroma, some grassy hops. Flavors of pineapple, vanilla, lactose, some coconut and malt, grassy hops on the finish as it warms. Smooth, a little creamy, a very good light to medium body, well carbonated.
Ugly beers don’t scare me, and this was very good, otherwise. I did see pictures of normal pours, so don’t know what was up with this can. All the add- ins are prominent, the coconut a little less so in the flavor. The hops help cut the sweetness.

A: The beer is very hazy to cloudy whitish yellow in color. It poured with a quarter finger high white head that quickly died down, leaving just a narrow collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of pineapple are present in the nose along with notes of coconut.
T: The taste has flavors of pineapple and vanilla along with notes of lactose and hints of coconut.
M: It feels medium-bodied and a bit smooth on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer makes for a nice selection to pair with a dessert, especially with the flavors of vanilla and lactose.

Served from the can in a Lagunitas mason jar.
I'm not particularly fond of getting caught in the rain, but I guess champagne's alright. Anyway, this stuff pours a candle-wax-opaque pale Sunny D topped by a finger of lightly off-white foam. The nose comprises pineapple juice, sweet cream, light coconut flakes, and a touch of Cheerios. The taste brings in more of the same, turning out like a sweeter, better-tasting version of a pina colada. I guess that was the goal. The body is a lithe medium, with a light moderate carbonation and a fluid feel. Overall, a pretty durn tasty milkshake piece, one that delivers the tin's promise rather well.
