For the third iteration of our hazy DIPA that we feature grape juice in we featured Phantasm NZ powder, Nelson Sauvin hops, and Sauvignon Blanc grape juice.
Funky and fruity flavors from the grapes and Phantasm and dank, resiny hops play with each other on a pillow bed of oats that has a hunt if tart, juicy flavors.

Orange-y, pineapple-y, melon-y aromas with fruity flavor that has a sort of dryness to it. Color is kind of in between melon and pineapple. Very drinkable for an 8%.

16 ounce can into a tulip snifter, had 1/19/22.
Pours a hazy yellow orange with a two inch foamy head and a decent amount of foamy lacing. The grape juice does give it a wine- like quality and is the star of the show for me, especially in the flavor. Grassier than I remember and the light hop bitterness has mostly disappeared. There’s lots of melon in the aroma and flavor, as well as some light citrus as it warms . A solid lighter body that’s well carbonated.
Had the original version and I don’t know what the Phantasm adds, but it’s still a bright and refreshing beer. Very enjoyable and well worth a purchase.

Hazy light orange pour. Mostly hops on the nose. The taste has a nice bite too it, a subtle dryness and character from the Sauvignon Blanc. It's noticeable and adds a bit of a different twist on the brew without overwhelming it. Good, interesting beer.
