poured from a 16oz can into a stemless wine glass. pours a hazy yellow / orange with not quite a finger of soapy white head. pungent pine and cantaloupe along with a bit of pineapple and peach. pretty incredible nose that doesn’t quite translate on the taste. there’s an odd sweetness to it that i can’t place. even as it warms and the fruity characteristics give way to a noticeable alcohol burn, that sweetness is still there. full mouthfeel; solid from start to finish. have to dig how smooth it is for 10% but the taste for me is a bit ruined by the sweetness (i assume from the hops?). it’s still a solid triple and if nothing else, the ABV gets the job done.
