Canned 2/27/23 (2 months ago)
Appearance: Pours a nearly completely hazy (10% clarity) medium to deep orange color with a strong white head. SRM of 8. (4.00)
Aroma: Strong aromas of grapefruit, citrus flower, some white wine and grape notes. Some hints of herbal and bitter mango underneath. (4.00)
Flavor: Strong flavors of grapefruit citrus, citrus flower, white wine and grape notes. A bitter citrus and mango note at the end. Clean the pallet and finish dry. (4.00)
Feel: Medium to lighter bodied. Very strong carbonation finishes moderately bitter and dry. (4.25)
Compared to Toppling Goliath Electric Dino Boogie 4/2023: Pours darker, deeper, similar head. Milder aromas. More grapefruit citrus, white wine, bitter flower and mango. Less sweet orange, cantaloupe melon, and peach. Dryer and cleaner.
to Phase 3 DDH Pixel Density 5/2023: Pours darker, similar head. Milder aromas. More navel orange, grapefruit citrus, vinous grape, flower, and pine. Less orange citrus, mango, papaya, pineapple. Lighter and cleaner.
Overall: A pretty decent NEIPA again from Phase 3. Nice Strata flavors that get some citrus flower, white vinous grape, and mango. The talus adds a bitter flower and mango component that allows it to end up drinking somewhat astringent, dry, and clean. Moderately bitter too. Very drinkable and enjoyable with a bit of a bite. (Rating: 4.03)
