For our twelfth batch of Curvature, we hit our big, chewy imperial stout recipe with a blend of raw and toasted coconut, maple syrup and a dash of Saigon cinnamon. The toasty, nutty coconut is enhanced by the cinnamon, and the maple adds additional layers in this incredibly smooth imperial stout.

Bottle. Thicker appearance upon pour, good aroma. Coconut and cinnamon first, and maple coming through more as warm. Chocolatey flavor. Sweet but not grossly, for a single pour.

Released 12/15/22; drank 12/27/22 @ the Yarchives.
Black/brown appearance.
An even pour yielded almost no tan head; minimal lace.
Cinnamon, chocolate syrup& faint coconut notes in the nose; sweet maple emerged as this warmed.
Thick, sticky mouthfeel. Coconut, chocolate syrup & maple syrup flavors up front; faint cinnamon & booze heat emerged as this warmed.
Too much, as usual, but it's drinkable.
