16oz can. Poured out a straw-yellow color with a small, white head of fizzy foam. It left thin rings of lace on the glass. It smelled of tangerine, grapefruit, melon and caramel. Sweet tropical fruit taste with toasted caramel and a sharp, piney bitterness.

Gives me massive pixel lite vibes, I know I shouldn’t start with flavor, but I’m having it out of can, will update this review again once I have it out of glass.
The flavor is clean, almost too clean, it’s almost like an imperial version of pixel density, but that makes no sense bc of the lower abv! It does feel like a “dry hazy” so to speak. Or a hazy with enough malt backbone to be bitter. This is a massive difference from a traditional west coast, and I think that’s rather the point. It offers refreshing qualities of recreational lagers along with citrusy hazy feel and flavor notes.
Honestly I am not entirely sure what I’m drinking when I’m having it and i mean that as a big compliment!! Reminds me of Bodem or Swirling Flourish in the sense it’s a great beer, but keeps you trying to figure out exactly what notes your getting as layered complexity unveils itself… (review to be updated, cheers)

Can pour; billed as West Coast IPA, it poured hazy/unfiltered. Nose and flavors were more akin to the hazy/unfiltered efforts from the bigger breweries and less like I'd expect from a West Coast IPA.
