Slightly muddled dark brown to black with a thinly fuzzy tan ring.
The nose uncannily mimics DB Pastry Mode's to a Tee, which is especially confounding since no hazelnuts were harmed in the making of this. And yes, I did rinse my glass, let alone had a few other palate cleansing, non-pastry beers prior to this.
However, by contrast, taste is way more vanilla forward here, and a little sharper, yet also dichotomously viscous af. Still, overall, it kind of gives me chocolate Pop Tart vibes.
