Had on tap. Pitch black stout pour with a tiny ring that is enveloped by the darkness. Great barrel in all aspects! Nose has wheated earth, char, molasses, dark chocolate, and leather. Taste has big wheated bourbon and heavily toasted oak, date, with supporting anise, black strap molasses, char. Feel is stupid smooth yet lets the rugged barrel through in warm glory. Sticky and heavy, chewy even. This really shows off the barrel well without any gimmicks, very, very nice crafting done here
