Double dry-hopped hazy double IPA with HBC-586 and Mosaic hops. HBC-586 is a new, experimental hop variety that imparts flavors of guava, lychee and mango which we have paired with Mosaic to create a smooth and bitter punch.

Appearance: Pours a nearly completely hazy (10% clarity) medium to dusky orange color with a massive white head. Some dark particulates or foreign material. SRM of 7. (3.75)
Aroma: Strong aromas of orange, guava, tropical melon and mango underneath. (4.25)
Flavor: Strong flavors of orange citrus, tangerine, guava, with sweet pineapple, melon and mango underneath. Some herbal notes involve briefly. Finishes with sweet mango. (4.25)
Feel: Medium body, average carbonation. Lightly herbal, but overall juicy and sweet. (4.00)
Compared to Toppling Goliath Haze Bus 7/2023: Pours similar, stronger aromas. More sweet and juicy pineapple, berries, mango. Less orange and coconut. Juicier and sweeter.
Compared to Phase 3 DDH Far From The Tree 7/2023: Pours lighter, clearer, similar head. Milder aromas. More juicy berries/melon, mango. Less orange, tangerine, melon. Juicier, more tropical and more flavors. Winner: Later Gator
Compared to Hop Butcher Kielbasa King 7/2023: Pours similar, milder head. Stronger aromas. More juicy berry, melon, mango. Less tangerine, resin, pine. Juicier.
Compared to Phase 3 DDH Lyrical Rampage 7/2023: Pours slightly darker, stronger aromas. More blueberry, melon, mango. Less citrus pith, guava, papaya. Juicier and more tropical. Winner: Later Gator
Overall: Top shelf NEIPA from Phase 3. Excellent combo of HBC586 and Mosaic. Intensely tropical wiht melon, berries, sweet mango. Very juicy and leans sweet. Stands up nicely with age. Incredibly flavorful and pleasant. (Rating: 4.21)
