16oz can. Bottom date stamp is 'PACKAGED 10-16-2024'.
Near to clear, with some shimmer. Deep gold colored body. One thick finger of white head, which results in a thin cap and high ring. Leaves behind wide horizontal lacing rings.
Aroma of pine and citrus, with a clear note of pineapple.
Taste has resin, pineapple, grapefruit, lemon, and pine. Initially sweet with moderate bitterness at the end. The malt base appears in the aftertaste but the main flavors continue to be the resin and citrus/pineapple.
Moderate mouthfeel. The resin and pine are drying; the fruits are juicy and somewhat sweet. Very good carbonation.
Decent clarity and expresses moderate bitterness but certainly not a palate wrecker.

Canned 8/31/23 (2 months ago)

Appearance: Pours a nearly hazy (30% clarity) deep and rich orange color with a large white head htat lingers. SRM of 10-11. (4.25)

Aroma: Moderate aromas of orange and tangerine, resin topped with a lemon, grapefruit and pine aroma. (3.00)

Flavor: Strong and resinous flavors of tangerine and grapefruit citrus. This is balanced by citrus pine that lingered off the finish. Some caramel malt and a moderate sweetness. Minimal bitterness. (3.75)

Feel: Medium to heavier body, strong, carbonation, decent, malt profile, and slightly smooth and sweet. (3.75)

Compared to The Veil Vent3 10/2023: Pours similar, milder aromas. More resinous tangerine and pine. Less juicy grapefruit, pineapple, white grape, and pine. Smoother and less juicy.

Overall: A WCIPA with traditional C hops. Classic, resinous flavors, some pine, mildly bitter. Pretty good, but could use an oomph in the bitterness category. Classic and Enjoyable. (Rating:
