Appearance: Pours a nearly completely hazy (10% clarity) medium to dusky orange color with a strong white head that lingers. SRM of 7. (4.00)
Aroma: Strong aromas of orange citrus, some grapefruit citrus, and sweet pineapple and strawberry underneath. (4.00)
Flavor: Strong flavors of orange citrus, grapefruit citrus, and earthy and meaty citrus bite. Some pine, hence vanilla, and strawberry linger. Sweet with a mild bitterness to support. (4.00)
Feel: Medium body, strong carbonation, lingering citrus and pine bite off the end. (4.00)
Compared to Phase Three DDH Bokeh Orbs 10/2023: Pours lighter, duskier, similar head. Stronger aromas. More grapefruit, strawberry, vanilla, and pine. Less orange and lime.
Overall: First try at Whimsical Nature and the Lotus gives it some interesting flavors of grapefruit, strawberry, vanilla, and even bitter flavors. Interesting Lotus flavors and bitterness. I bet it improves even more as that bite smooths out a bit with some age. (Rating: 4.00)
