Originally brewed in early 2020, this blend of Rye and Oated imperial stouts was laid to rest in numerous whiskey casks, some of it destined for Eunoia 5 and Eunoia 6 and for Minutiae Reserve 2022 (double barrel minutiae). The rest you ask? A portion of the blend of Minutiae Reserve 2022 was then put into a third round of casks destined for you to try at Soaked In Oak 2023 and even saved a little bit for our 5th birthday party in 2024, more on that when the time comes.
Triple Barrel Minutiae is a massive beer, like 19.5% massive. Absolutely saturated with whiskey and wood. A rare treat rewarded from time and patience of almost 4 years. Enjoy it's boldness and it's grace.

Had on tap. Pitch black pour with a brown ring. The smell right away signals this is a boozy beast of a beer! Very strong bourbon and dark oak with dark chocolate, vanilla and char. The barrels are great, but the booze is just too strong in the taste and feel, running away with the complexion. Hot booze crashed upon the base stout and dark wood, nuances are hard to decipher outside of chocolate, vanilla and dark fruit. Feel especially makes this a hard sipper, it burns on the palate before calming down a bit by the finish.
