Pours a nearly clear golden color with a frothy white head that leaves a nice little cap on the body of the beer and blankets the glass with lacing. Gorgeous WCDIPA.
The nose is led by fresh pine aromas, and there’s also a nice bit of resin as well as grapefruit rind, and all of those notes are present on the taste, with the grapefruit flavor providing a nice balance to the pine notes.
The mouthfeel is very clean and dry, making for a very drinkable 8% ABV. I love pine notes in IPA’s and this beer has that in copious amounts. Not for everyone in these days of fruit forward hazies, but I am REALLY digging this.

Aroma is strong spruce/piney hops and a hint of syrup sweetness. The flavor is huge spruce, malts and a hoppy/very strange grape juice/mildly sweet finish.
