This 6% stout was inspired by a delicious tropical latte from a cafe in Maui. Brewed by the women, for the women of P3 & made to be an easy-drinking sipper bursting with bold flavor. Creamy coconut & freshly roasted coffee blend harmoniously while ube adds a luxurious mouthfeel and rounds out the tropical vibes.

Had on tap. Brownish black body with a large mocha brown head, spotted lacing. Smells of coffee, coconut, bittersweet chocolate, and baked earth. Taste is very bitter with the coffee ground meeting the coconut with a tang with a hint of metal, clashes with the roasted malt and bittered chocolate a bit. Feel is airy yet still heavy, roast and coffee percolates the palate, but does force the palate into a bittering forward position

Matte black with a faint hint of purple (am I reaching?) in the otherwise khaki foam head.
The roasty porter-like intro immediately changes to mild coconut with a cola, almost sassafras note, with perhaps the coffee lending toffee.
Somehow refreshing for its darker constitution, even lightly crisp.

Aroma fruit/mild sweetness, coconut and mild coffee. The flavor is coffee, fruit/mild tropical fruit, chocolate and a toasted malt/slightly acidic finish.
