Two years ago we released the first of the series, we don't like the idea of forcing this beer. We wait until something clicks. For this rendition of Blend, we chose a composition of different barrel-aged beer consisting of Imperial Stout (30 months in Willett bourbon barrels), Imperial Porter (20 months in Wild Turkey bourbon barrels), Imperial Brown Ale (25 months in Wild Turkey bourbon barrels), Dark English Barleywine (18 months in Heaven Hill bourbon barrels), and a Belgian quad (23 months in Wild Turkey bourbon barrels).

Pitch black opaque body with a light brown head that fades into a steadfast collar. Aromas of chocolate covered raisin, bourbon, rich molasses, with slight toffee, leather, and vanilla accenting, with a whisper of anise. Taste starts with lush caramel, raisin, molasses, bourbon, and toffee, before oak, vanillins, anise, leather, dark chocolate liqueur, licorice, and charcoal flakes create contrasting layers that bring amazing definition. Feel is thick and velvet smooth, booze barrel character with a warming touch, medium-heavy body, refined yet deep. A masterpiece
