We made it another year around the Sun and we're glad you joined us. It's our birthday and we get to choose our cake. German Chocolate it is! Creamy coconut, goopy chocolate, and nutty pecan. We love coconut, so figured we could be a bit selfish and make sure it ended up in this year's HBD. Happy Birthday to us. Thanks for the 5 awesome years and all the support!

Dull matte black but with a fairly decent sized tan head for the style, though it collapses quickly.
This was a bit cloying for me, and no where near as clearly expressive of its inspiration as Angry Chair's take.

Had on tap. Pitch black oily pour, brown ring. Smells strongly of chocolate and coconut, with pecan, vanilla, and table sugar behind, kind of muddled. Taste starts with very sweet confectionary chocolate, then vanilla and caramel before a then huge roasted pecan finishes with some astringent roasted earth, the final impression that lingers of the palate is sugar and burnt nut. Feel is sweet and thick but then roasts out in a thinning fashion. This was a big swing and miss for our group
