16 ounce can, dating on it is smudged so I can't read it. Thanks to Brutaltruth for this! Served in a pint glass, the beer pours a somewhat clear mahogany brown color with not quite an inch tan head. Head retention and lacing are both good enough. Aroma is nice, the brew smells like nuts, coffee, cocoa and some caramel. Taste is similar to the aroma, but there's also some herbal hops noticeable too. Does lean maltier tasting. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it's smooth and easy to drink with a moderate amount of carbonation. Have to say this is a good overall brown ale, wish I could find more brown ales like this one!

From the 16 oz can in a pint glass. This solid brown pours a
medium mahogany with a very nice head of khaki foam that settles to a
thick ring, thick layer, and sports some nice lacing. Nose of herbal hops, subtle coffee,
subtle nutty malts, and light caramel. Flavors are done on point! Toasted malts, nutty
malts, light herbal hops, caramel, subtle toffee, light coffee, and a nice dark cocoa
note. Mouth feel is medium, light carbonation in the English sense, smooth, and
finishing lightly dry with a light malt note.
Overall, the three best things about this---balance, balance, and balance!
Well played English brown!
Cheers
