500 ml bottle into a snifter. Had 11/16/24.
Pours near black and opaque, with no head and a strong oily smear on the glass. Aromas of coffee, chocolate, roasted malt, some bourbon and rum, light vanilla- more as it warms. Has a little bit of a smoky smell. Flavors of coffee, roasted malt, vanilla, chocolate, some bourbon. Smooth, quite thick, a bit creamy, a solid full body, appropriately carbonated on the low side.
Plenty of coffee, almost as much vanilla. The thick and full mouthfeel is great. The barrel presence is a bit lacking overall- the rum barrels disappear in the flavor, but you get some. Really well done, though, and very enjoyable.

Syrupy black with no head, staining the glass brown forevermore.
Boozy dark barrel and vanilla are apparent, blurring the line with barrel vanillin and rum as well.

Bottle pour; pour is thicc and black with zero head. Nose is primarily espresso roast with hints of green pepper. Those hints do not appear in the flavor, which is roasty espresso and sweet vanilla creme. Finish is fairly clean.
