Aprés: Raspberry

Back in the late Summer of 2022, while out in Glenwood Springs, Colorado fishing in the Roaring Fork River with our friend, Troy Casey of Casey Brewing and Blending we decided we'd trade some recipe knowledge. We formulated a recipe and plan to create this mixed culture in our otherwise "clean" brewery. Meet, Aprés. After brewing, we fermented the base of this beer in neutral oak wine casks for about a year and a half. This past Summer we added macerated raspberries to half of the beer to ferment out through the warm Summer months in our warehouse. Notes of raspberry nectar and a beautifully balanced tart saison with subtle funk dance harmoniously together in our very first mixed culture beer, Aprés: Raspberry.
