This one's pretty cool. While our familiarity of citra and amarillo is abundant, Alora is a new hop for us. Alora contains a highly aromatic oil that's pretty unique in hops called selinene. Selinene is a compound that has a distinct citrus character found in yuzu. Chok full of aromas and flavors like citrus, peach, and passion fruit.

Appearance: Pours a completely hazy (10% clarity) medium golden color with a strong white head. SRM of 7. (4.00)
Aroma: Strong aromas of orange, tangerine, yuzu, pineapple, dank pine.
Flavor: Strong flavors of orange, yuzu, lemon, tangerine, pineapple, and dank pine. Citrusy with a bite.
Feel: Medium-body, average carbonation. Smooth, mildly sweet.
Compared to Phase Three Out For Delivery 2/25: Pours identical, similar aromas. More tangerine, yuzu, dank pine. Less stonefruit, apricot, and tropical melon.
Compared to Hop Butcher Orange Moss 3/25: Pours lighter. Milder aromas. Less tangerine, peach, strawberry. More orange citrus, flower, and yuzu. Drier.
to Phase Three Linear Gradient 3/25: More orange, yuzu, citrus zest. Less tropical lime, melon, mango.
to Phase Three Snow Pants 3/25: More orange, less dank pine and lemon.
to Phase Three Unused PTO 4/25: Pours similar, stronger head. Less pineapple, passionfruit, guava, coconut. More orange, tropical melon, and flower.

to Toppling Goliath Sosus 4/25: Pours clearer, stronger aromas. Less dank pine and berries. More orange flower and juice. More smooth and juicy.
Overall: Be Cappy. A fresh release with Citra, Amarillo, and Alora which is a new hop to me. Some great orange, yuzu lemon, and pine. Great new stuff from the Alora hop which provides a yuzu lemon flavor. (Rating: 4.13)
