For our 6th trip around the Sun we brewed a beautiful hazy double IPA stacked with Eclipse, Citra, and Galaxy—Eclipse drops bold orange and mandarin, Citra layers in mango and grapefruit, and Galaxy ties it with passionfruit and a tropical hum. Some of our favorite hops as of late truly bring us back to the early haze days.

Appearance: Pours a completely cloudy (10% clarity) light and pale yellow color with a moderate white head. SRM of 6. (4.00)
Aroma: Strong aromas of orange, peaches, passionfruit, grapefruit with some pineapple. Zesty. (4.00)
Flavor: Strong flavors of passionfruit, grapefruit, peach test. Some orange zest and grapefruit with some pineapple notes on the finish. Zesty and clean. (4.25)
Feel: Medium body, strong, carbonation, zesty, clean, and leans dry. (4.25)
Compared to Phase Three Linear Gradient 4/25: Pours similar, milder head. Zestier aromas. More orange and peach zest, grapefruit, pineapple. Less tropical lime, green melon.
5/25: More grapefruit, pineapple, peach zest. Less tropical lime and green melon.
Overall: A two-week fresh 6th year anniversary. Citra base with some Eclipse for some more mandarin orange notes. Zesty grapefruit and peach zest with some pineapple from the Galaxy. Zesty and dry. Six! is a great 6th year anniversary IPA. Drinking excellent. (Rating: 4.18)
