Meet our easygoing oatmeal stout built for cold-weather drinking. Layered with chocolate and caramel malts and just enough roast to keep it balanced. A creamy mouthfeel from flaked oats ties it all together. Perfect alongside a hearty stew or a slice of your favorite deep dish.

From the 12 oz can in a pint glass. This solid oatey pours a dark
blackish brown with a fantastic head of light brown foam that settles
to a thick ring, thick layer, and sports some nice lacing. Nose of dark
chocolate, dark coffee, moderate char notes, and subtle cream amongst
the deep roast. Flavors hit the mark with dark roasted malts, dark coffee,
dark chocolate, smooth mellow oat notes, subtle cream, and moderate char.
Mouth feel is medium full, medium light carbonation, smooth, rich, moderately
coating, and finishing with a bitter malt note that is moderately dry.

Overall---a banger of a classic style done right!

Cheers

Black with a nice light brown head. Nice light roasted malt and light cocoa powder aroma and flavor. Good balance with little to no sweetness. Medium to light bodied with a nice dry roasty dry finish.

Appearance: Pours pitch black with a three finger ecru head; solid retention with patchy lacing

Smell: Roasty tones of chocolate, caramel and coffee

Taste: Roasted malt forward with chocolate, coffee and a hint of caramel; very dry, after the swallow with earthy bitterness and a roasty finish

Mouthfeel: Medium body with moderate carbonation

Overall: The weather is turning cold here again and this beer packs a lot of flavor for the 5.8% ABV

Had on cask. Brownish black opaque pour with a sustained light brown head, sporadic spotted lacing. Smell: roasted malt, baker's chocolate, oat, toasted caramel, and bittering earth. Taste is an earthy version of the nose. Feel is bitter on the finish, but lush and warm waves of oat and malts reward the palate each sip before the appropriate finish.
