Served from a cask in a 12 oz (355 ml) beer can glass at Wolf & Warrior Brewing Co. in White Plains, NY.
A: Pours a very slightly hazy, straw color with a one finger, white head, rim retention and limited lacing.
S: Fruity and floral. Aromas of white pepper, cracker, green apple, and sweet hay predominate.
T: Basically dry with again a grainy/grassy flavor. A touch more bite from bitterness than expected, but it is welcome. Refreshing with very crisp finish.
M: Light bodied and medium carbonation. No astringency
O: Köntract is a nicely composed Kölsch. Glad I was able to try it from the cask. Don't know when it was opened, but drank very well.
