Old Herald Brewery & Distillery

This place has a very cool vibe, at once clean and open with a lot of rustic charm. There's a main eating area with a bar that's separated but not closed off and another room more for hanging out and reading on the history of the building and the town, while the distilling room and vessels are in open view from any area behind glass. The bar serves 8 house beers at any time, all of good quality. I enjoyed everything on tap in a good range of styles. The food was also excellent and this is another place where you should eat if you're coming at a mealtime. I would also recommend the spirits and cocktails. Service is good, personable, quick, friendly, and knowledgeable.
