Presentation: 12oz brown with no freshness date to be found.
Appearance: Lightly tarnished gold with a faint chill haze. The lace is fluffy, bubbly and sticks well.
Smell: Very clean aroma ... virtually nothing to smell though a little fruitiness, grain and a faint floral aroma are there vaguely.
Taste: Thin in the body and also the malt ... and a hop bitterness that matches. Smooth with a light body ... the flavours come and go quickly, basically a quick punch of grain and hop bitterness that vanishes without a trace. Clean finish.
Notes: It is smooth as it says on the bottle ... it tastes like Miller brewed it rather than Celis. More of a hot, hazy and humid weather brew ... nothing special here. 4.2% abw.
