Presentation: 12oz brown. Freshness date clearly marked.
Appearance: Cloudy light brown in colour. The head is wispy with a bubbly lace that clings to the sides.
Smell: Horsy, slightly spicy alcohol with esters and some sourness.
Taste: Up-front this brew is crisp and sharp from a mixture of hop bitterness, spicy alcohol and fine carbonation. A full, malty, fruity (light cherry flavour) mixture of flavours follow, and continue, with a lingering peppery dryness to the end.
Notes: This is an amazing Belgian style ale. Very intricate, drinkable and warming.
