I had a few of these on tap at The Orange Lantern in Paramus while a buddy and I participated in Trivia Night. The beer is a hazy yellow-orange color with a thick white head. The aroma has a modest fruit quality...a bit of fleshy stone fruit and a hint of citrus. The taste is slightly sweet, balanced with a fruit hop bitterness. It's smooth and easy to drink. It's solidly good, but not outstanding.

Pours a hazy yellow and looks the part of a NEIPA. The nose is fairly subdued but picked up citrus and pear. Flavors do not take you up I-95 to New England though. A bit bitter, but not grapefruit. More of a faintly citrus, grainy quality. A long way from a New England style juicebomb. The body is nice, taste is balanced, so there's a lot to like here. But if you're looking for sweet, try a different bird.

On-tap at Tommy's Tavern in Morris Plains. Pours a golden effervescent hue with minimal frothing. Moderate aroma replete with hints of citrus and lemon zest. Similar overall flavor profile. Highly refreshing.

Pours a hazy gold with not much foam. Smell is orange, florals and some pine. Taste follows with some grapefruit ....not getting much sweetness. Not overly bitter....not overly smooth. Not bad

This is one of those beers where I'm conflicted as to rate to style or not. If you called this just a hazy American IPA I would definitely have no confliction in giving this beer higher marks. First what I like about it: it has a real good raw, earthy, rustic hoppiness about it. The aromatics are pleasant and soft apple, pear, citrus, papaya and mango. The flavor has a strong doughy underbite with scratchier pine, herbal, and berry-mango notes. But...the body is crisp, light, scratchy, and coarse; the bitterness is lasting while balanced...all things I look for in a good IPA. Not really a NEIPA, this beer doesn't necessarily go down as a sweet sipper with that pillowy feel paradoxical to the hefty juice notes. Maybe it's the hop mix, which I actually like, or the coarse grainy maltiness. A really good beer regardless, and its own thing. Just don't be expecting EQ, TH, or some other juice like that. However, it actually compares favorably to the Alchemist, FWIW, not too shabby.

Pours a murky brown orange color. Carbonation a little too high. Great nose and lots of tropical fruits, taste is lightly bitter.
Overall a good DIPA, wish the taste was a little less bitter.
