It's a German style of black lager made with "de-bittered" dark roasted malt, which imparts the color and pleasant toasted flavor without the astringency one might expect. The soft flavors and smooth texture are enhanced by the subtle character of Tettnang hops. (4.9% ABV / 27 IBU)
