Made with 60 pounds of Wildflower honey from Treasure Valley, this Belgian Blond will sweeten your day. It started with Belgian Strong Ale yeast, and was brewed with 2-row, C20, and Munich malts. Hops are Magnum and Crystal!

Taster at BrĂ¼. Dark golden pour, small bubbly head. Sweet aroma, honey. Taste is even sweeter, a bit too sweet for me. Medium weight and overall nice feel.

this is a neat one, perhaps the most well refined beer i have had from these guys, i liked it a lot, and reckon they should keep on brewing it, its one of their best to date in my experience, but i have been pretty down on a lot of them thus far. this is clear and deep golden to brassy in color, a nice white head from the tap with good retention, and a cool nose. its only subtly belgian to me, they must have kept the fermentation temperature down a little lower for this strain, its moderately estery, but the honey is there as much as the yeast, floral and summery, some light biscuity grain too. the flavor is nice and mellow, balanced, and distinctive, with the pear and clove notes of the yeast bringing out the best of the honey, orange blossom, red apple, green grass, and maybe elderflower and dandelion, its only a touch sweet, and its drier by the swallow. i like the honey taste in here a lot, its very pronounced, and even works with whatever hops are happening in this, as there is some bitterness that rises up late, kind of herbal and fresh too. great carbonation, which i always look for in the belgian types, and a pretty clean finish for what it is. impressive quality here, a unique recipe, rad tap handle, and a very drinkable and enjoyable brew. hopefully the sign of these guys having turned the corner on quality...
