An Idaho take on a Marzen Style Oktoberfest, we are using our house Lager Yeast to create a Garden City Style Oktoberfest Beer. Brewed with a mix of Pocatello 2-Row and Munich Malt, with an addition of Midnight Wheat from Washington blend to create a great base. We opted to go with PNW blend of Magnum and Crystal for hops, ignoring the traditional Hallertau styles that are typically used in Oktoberfest.
Gartenstadt should be a refreshing take on a classic style that we are hoping will blow your socks off.

Draft at brewery. Dark amber, barely there head. Once again, aroma is a no-show. Taste reveals the normal märzen malty character , and the feel is OK. Passable.
