Draft st brewery. Hazy golden, one finger creamy head. Smooth character actually had me guessing wheat. Bready aroma and taste. Creamy. Light bitterness at the finish.

Slight Buttery taste can be OK for some Pilsner but this can pour seems to have too much. It misses at the maltiness but balanced with just enough hop spice. Smell is non existent but visually nails an effervescence clear lager

to me this one was just okay, and not because its waffling between german and czech identity, but because it tastes sort of instantly stale, even though its fresh, like its been out in the sun or something, even though it hasnt, like its tired already, seems weird for a style thats supposed to be light and bright, not sure why thats the case. it has a really simple european pale malt base, a little bit of yeast character like proofing pizza dough, almost acidic for a second, weird on the grain side for sure, and hardly any of the noble hop bitterness i want in one of these at all. its refreshing when its freezing cold, but it warms up poorly, with a weird aluminum tang to it, a slightly soapy vibe, and less than robust carbonation once it sits a second. i keep going back and forth on whether or not this brewery is any good, and i was stoked for what this pils might show me about that, but really this leaves more questions than answers, and for me anyway, despite their popularity, the jury is still out. this wouldnt stand up against even the middle of the road local examples of the style, let alone the best in the world, i was not impressed, but may have had it under less than fully ideal conditions, and will revisit it when i am out at the brewery again...
