16oz can from Brewers Haven. Light amber, hazy, patchy head. Aroma is light caramel, woody, earthy. Taste turns to pine, hop resin, classic NW IPA palate. Good, but I'm not seeing what all the fuss is about.

16oz canned recently and poured into a pint nonic;
A: Pours darker than expected; gold with a light haze to it and a smaller creamy off-white head.
S: Piney and zesty; grapefruit and citrus rind...malt sweetness...there is a tropical note as well, maybe mango?
T: Follows the nose, moderately bitter and sweet simultaneously, with a hefty malt bill that competes well with some generous West Coast bittering hops; resin, pine, orange, pith, mango, grapefruit.
MF: Oily, slick mouthfeel finishes dry. Present bitterness.
O: A nice WC-style double, worth checking out. Tasty and hoppy, bitter and sweet.

A-amber gold, prodigious head on gentle pour, good retention and lacing
S-Piney, mango and citrus
T-follows nose. Citra and Amarillo hops dominate. Nelson Sauvin hops seondary for just a bit tropical. Above average bitter (100 IBU's), below average sweet.
M-oily, slick, smooth. Not sure what the grainbill is, but it works. Below average carbonation
O-Well above average DIPA with a distinct West Coast leaning.
