For Volume 6 we stuck with an even ratio of wheat & oats and an all pilsner malt base for a light and pillowy canvas to showcase another fun hop - Sabro. A double dry-hopping of Galaxy & Sabro takes you off to a tropical paradise with notes of lemon meringue, cream of coconut, and pineapple.
Malt - Idaho Pilsner, Flaked Wheat, Flaked Oats, Carafoam
Hops - Galaxy, Sabro

Appearance: Pours slightly hazy, with a translucent goldenstraw capped by a one finger head; a few shards
Smell: Lemon pith and pine
Taste: Papaya forward with the lemon pith emerging; quite piney through the middle with an herbaceous finish; somewhat oniony
Mouthfeel: Medium body with moderate carbonation
Overall: Not particularly approachable and it makes me think a bit of lemon Pine Sol
Thanks, JohnGalt1, for the opportunity

Draft at brewery. Hazy pale straw color, skimpy head. Aroma is very light oranges, citrus, floral notes. Taste brings faint citrusy flavors, oranges, and a light tangy citrus peel backend. Flavors are mellow and subdued, but the citrus peel bitterness stands out and remains on the palate.

Crowler fill from the local Growler Guys poured into an IPA nonic. Pours out a very hazy straw/yellow, reminiscent of fruit juice, with a creamy white head that laces well. Huge amounts of tropical fruitiness on the nose and palate, with strong flavors of coconut, cedar, and mint, with peach and pineapple as well. Delicious creamy, yeasty body drinks well. A very strong offering in the NEIPA category, one of the best locals I've tried in this vein.
