For the latest installment of our Hazy Series, we went with our favorite malt combination of Idaho-grown pilsner, wheat and oats, which provides a light, but creamy mouthfeel, and is fermented with our house hazy yeast strain to keep things fluffy. If a pineapple, watermelon, and peach got together and made a candy, this blend of galaxy, el dorado, and citra hops would be it.
Malt - Idaho-grown Pilsner, White Wheat, Flaked Oats, Flaked Wheat

Draft at WC. Hazy, yellow golden body, thin white foamy head, rings of lacing. Light citrusy, grapefruit aroma. Citrus follows through to the taste, zesty and bitter. Not a ton of aroma or flavor, but what is there provides a very mellow, citrusy experience.

this is really great, among their best hoppy beers to date, and they are getting this series dialed in. this is less heavy and starchy than some of the earlier ones on the grain side, interesting while staying dry and not too full. its got no greenness or hop burn or pellet taste to it either, its cleaner than the others, pungent still, but its more of the parts of the hops we want, less of the parts we dont, really nicely put together. the galaxy stands out in nose and taste to me, lime leaf and lemongrass and chardonnay, and i do get a little berry character here too from the other hops in the mix, maybe a hint of white coconut too, all oily and fresh, minimal bitterness. the flavor is as good as the nose which i love, the hops are not overdosed despite being bold, and there is a ton of flavor nuance from the hops, green melon and lime zest and sweet orange, just delicious and juicy. the grain balances it out well, the fermentation is invisible and drying, and the texture overall is dangerously light for how strong this is. super impressive and modern ipa here, these guys have come a long way, and this series is getting better and better. the aftertaste of this is great too, kiwi fruit and earthy wheat, absolutely no trace of its alcohol strength, yum!
