god bless whoever found something redeemable here, because this thing is an unmitigated disaster, a desert nightmare if you will, one of the worst beers ive had here, if not in all of idaho, and whoever is supposed to be the brew "master" needs to actually have a pint and pull it immediately, a quality debacle of the highest order. so much wrong with this, but i have liked their new stuff of late and wanted to give this a go when i was in last weekend. its so over the top estery as to be phenolic, need to bring the temperature way down or increase pitch size, this yeast seems way stressed, and its soapy and even puke-like, well beyond the high tones permitted in the style. the nose is almost unbearable, and the only thing that saves it is the little bit of white wheat malt that can be tasted and felt, without that its a total mess. both of my parents were appalled by it, even made them want to get out of there, i choked it down looking for something to save it, a light lemon note late, a dash of bittering hops as it warms, decent carbonation, all there but none of that is enough. this ferment is straight whack, and anyone who has ever had a half decent example of the style will know that. a total embarrassment for these guys, yikes! just when i thought they were making strides...

Draft at Brixx. Pale straw color, cloudy, wispy head. Light Belgiany aroma, lemon, coriander. Taste is gentle and refreshing, savory notes, elements of citrus peel.
