16oz can from Brewers Haven. Cloudy golden, thin foamy head. Big piney Mosaic notes on the nose with some trailing orange. Hoppy, bitter taste, citrus sweetness, resiny, sticky. Big hop punch for a pale ale.

objectively good beer, hate the name of course, but at least they dont need to shock us into liking their beer this time. this is real simple and real tasty, could just be pale two row, mosaic hops, and flavorless ale yeast, which is saying something for these guys, who have struggled for clean fermentation more than anything else in my experience. this is bright, clear, golden shimmering clear beer with a short white head from the tap, some lace in the wake of each sip. aroma here of pineapple candy, spruce, and clean lemon, really appealing, easily identifiable as mosaic, little else too this save just hint of the barley sweetness, but well short of rich or heavy. the flavor is similar, hoppy from start to finish not just a late onset dry hop profile, and even packing some bitterness for mosaic in isolation. there is great balance here, and it seems pretty full spectrum for a single hop beer. i also like it having a little body but such a fast finish, its texturally satisfying while still drinking easy, a tough line to walk. not going to change the world, but this is a ray of hope for these guys in terms of quality. very enjoyable with spicy food too, the mosaic shines in that context. nicely done.

Clear golden pour from a fresh 16oz can; the nose is dripping with ripe, fresh fruit and dank berries...pineapple as well...crisp, light body with a pale malt backbone that lets the Mosaic hops shine.
