another super super good ipa in this series, some awesome breweries involved too now, cool they have those connections, deschutes is a big deal. im glad this is as good as it is, and its cool is not an imperial so i can drink a bunch of them, some of these have been real strong. unfiltered looking but not crazy hazy or dense or anything, and real frothy headed, looks real lively, very light in color, and it doesnt smell or taste like it has a whole lot of malt in it, more of a modern build, enough body for all these hops to seem balanced and supported, but thats it. the hops rule here, juicy and bright, yellow and white peaches, lemongrass, and green grapes, a little southern hemisphere to me, a little brand new experimental type, a little bit high thiol and biotransformation, really cool mix of ingredients and techniques it seems, although i dont have any details at all about this beer unfortunately. the aroma and flavor are equally fresh and pungent, and there is only middle of the road bitterness here. i like the malt being this light in the flavor but giving a little structure to this, and i like how clean the ferment is, this is professional, tidy, just fantastic execution. its all about the hops, but the beer is real cohesive and its not generic at all, it stands right out from the crowd, and there is a neat stone fruit aftertaste even though this is on the dry side. killer carbonation, super vibrant feel here that matches this hops well. this is great beer, a recent high point for western collective and a just a continuation of excellence for deschutes. really impressed with this one, not to be missed! since the georgetown one, all of these in the series ive had have been wicked!

16oz can from Brewers Haven. Pours out with a ightly cloudy golden body, fizzy head. Piney, dank aroma. Taste is resiny, piney, oily feel, light bitterness, lemon.
