not as striking as the earlier releases in this series to me, done with wet mosaic hops, the first wet hop beer i think i have seen to employ phantasm powder, thiolized yeast in this too. i think part of it might be that wet hop season is long over, this was on tap at the brewery, but to me its maybe not as popping fresh as it likely was, and even though it still tastes good and doesnt seem faded, it probably is to some extent. more clear than expected, simple pale base it seems, golden toned with a short and patchy white head, soft carbonation, some shine, looks nice. the aroma and flavor are not immediately mosaic to me, although canned pineapple still comes to mind, i also get more tropical notes, definite white wine, dried herbs too, and a little honey sweetness from the malt extending it, more classically mosaic as it warms, oily and weedy with some grapefruit character, not as pungent as i think i was expecting, wet hops and phantasm and thiolized yeast, this should zing but it doesnt, and without much bitterness and some grain pushing through it almost drinks more like a pale ale than an ipa. i bet this was more dramatic when it was newer, hope to catch it fresher next year if they do it again, seems like the idea is way better than the beer at this point. love the thought of phantasm with wet hops, but this doesnt pop like it should with those ingredients. still good beer though.

16oz can from Brewers Haven. Gold n pour with a thin, fine white head. Light hoppy aroma, grassy, faint lemon peel. Taste brings some biscuity malts, crackers, weak citrusy notes, small bitter bite. Hoppy profile while still going easy on the hops. Approachable.
