seems like lots of new ones from these guys lately, awesome. their hoppy stuff has come a long way in recent years, been trying to keep up with all the new ones. this is sort of unfiltered looking but not real heavy and hazy at all, average white head from the tap, sort of brassy looking, smells nice and fresh but not super interesting, bitter citrus, clean on the ferment, snappy and dry without a lot of malt in support, but there is a certain pleasing minimalism thing about it, less can be more. the flavor is balanced enough to almost hit like a pale ale, and while its got a slight metallic thing in the middle, its fast finishing and quite bright. the hops hit on grapefruit, candied orange, and an almost aromatic cocktail bitters thing on the back end, bold but not green at all, and well balanced by what seems like a pretty straight ahead malt base, paler than many but it does its job and i like how light this stays because of it. less radical and striking than a lot of their other recent ipa types have been, but its drinkable and serviceable and has pleasant bitterness throughout and excellent carbonation which also works to keep it light. enjoying the influx of new western beers of late...

16oz can from Hops & Bottles. Cloudy golden pour, thin, silky white head. Grainy, malty aroma with light fruity notes. Taste features mild sweetness, malty and a fine bitter edge, very fruity.
