Appearance: Pours fudge colored with a khaki film that fades to a collar; speckles of lacing
Smell: Sweetened milk chocolate aromatics with a hint of coffee; malted barley underneath
Taste: Barley malt flavors underpin the milk chocolate flavors that are joined by some coffee in the mid-palate; the finish has some tartness that was unexpected
Mouthfeel: Medium to full body with low to moderate carbonation
Overall: I'm wondering whether we are in the first stages of an infection here, judging by the finish
Thanks, JohnGalt1, for the opportunity

16oz can from brewery. Near black pour, patchy beige head, ring. Aroma is coffee, vanilla and a little booze. Taste is sweet, chocolate and vanilla. Silky smooth, mild bitterness and late rising warmth. Best of this years lot.
